Please refer to our easy-to-follow steps to troubleshoot your air purifier power source.

Important Note: To successfully troubleshoot your STORM air purifier, you should first identify the root of the problem. Is your STORM air purifier not turning on?

  1. If the product display light is on, this means the product is turned on and functioning. 

 

  1. If the product display light is not on, please check the power socket. If the power socket switch is off, please switch it on.
  2. If the power socket switch is on, but there is still no power, try connecting it to another power socket. Now, check if your air purifier will turn on. 

 

  1. Next, please check if the front cover is closed properly.
  2. If the product still has no function after trying all the steps above, please call the Cody/ST who recently serviced your air purifier or call Coway's Careline to report the issue.

Important Note: To successfully troubleshoot your STORM air purifier, you should first identify the root of the problem. Is your STORM air purifier not functioning?

  1. If the product display light is on, this means the product is turned on and functioning. 

 

  1. If the product display light is not on, please check the power socket. If the power socket switch is off, please switch it on.
  2. If the power socket switch is on, but there is still no power, try connecting it to another power socket. Now, check if your air purifier will turn on. 

 

  1. Next, please check if the air speed function is working by pressing different air speeds. 

 

  1. If the product still has no function after trying all the steps above, please call the Cody/ST who recently serviced your air purifier or call Coway's Careline to report the issue.

Important Note: To successfully troubleshoot your STORM air purifier, you should first identify the root of the problem. Is your STORM air purifier having air flow control problems?

  1. If the product display light is on, please refer to step 3.  

 

  1. If the product display light is not on, please check the power socket. If the power socket switch is off, please switch it on.
  2. Next, please check the air speed level output. 
Adjust the air speed to level low or mid, and feel if there is any air flow.
Increase the air speed level or haze mode to test if the air flow is functioning. 

 

  1. If the product still has no function after trying all the steps above, please call the Cody/ST who recently serviced your air purifier or call Coway's Careline to report the issue.

Important Note: To successfully troubleshoot your STORM air purifier, you should first identify the root of the problem. Is your STORM air purifier noisy or vibrating?

  1. Please check if the air speed level is at maximum speed.
  2. If the air speed level is at maximum speed, please lower the air speed or change it to Auto Mode to reduce vibration.  

 

  1. If there is still noise or vibration after lowering the air speed:
Turn the product off for 5 seconds,
After 5 seconds, turn it back on and observe if there is still vibrant or noise.

 

  1. If there is still vibration or noise, please call the Cody/ST who recently serviced your air purifier or call Coway's Careline to report the issue.

Important Note: To successfully troubleshoot your STORM air purifier, you should first identify the root of the problem. Is your STORM air purifier emitting a smell?

  1. Please identify what kind of smell is your air purifier emitting. Burning smell, abnormal smell or charcoal smell (this is normal). 
  2. If the air purifier is emitting a burning smell or abnormal smell, please call the cody/ST who recently serviced your air purifier or call Coway's Careline to report the issue.
